Vision

The Young Women’s Leadership Academy will foster an innovative learning environment to cultivate young women to become innovative problem-solvers and confident leaders in STEM education and future careers, and society. The YWLA will support the social and emotional well-being of our scholars and families through service and sisterhood as we adapt to, and excel in ever changing times.

Mission

At the Young Women’s Leadership Academy, we aim to develop the academic, leadership, and wellness skills of young women. We provide a rigorous, college preparatory education and effective support system that will develop all scholars to successfully achieve in higher education, lead in future STEM careers and society through demonstrating the guiding principles: perseverance, excellence, advocacy, resilience, leadership, and sisterhood.
