We are the ONLY organization working hand-in-hand with the public-school district to affect change within public education across Texas.
THE NETWORK
We currently have a network of nine all-girls, college preparatory, public schools across Texas in Aldine, Austin, Dallas, El Paso (Ysleta ISD), Fort Worth, Houston, Lubbock, Midland, and San Antonio. Our schools serve students in the 6th – 12th grades and are located in struggling neighborhoods with a high percentage of low-income and minority residents. Every YWPN school offers Pre-Advanced Placement and Advanced Placement courses in the core subjects and an emphasis on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Our schools have won multiple awards, including being recognized among the top public schools in Texas and the nation.
