YWPN IMPACT UPDATE
Join Young Women’s Preparatory Network and the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas for the YWPN Impact Update on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 from 7:30–9:00 a.m. at One Arts Plaza. Hear timely research on the challenges facing girls across Texas, learn how education can help create brighter futures, and enjoy a panel discussion moderated by renowned journalist Lee Cullum. Attendance is free, but registration is required.
SENIOR SIGNING DAY
Senior Signing Day happens in mid-May when the seniors of Irma Lerma Rangel Young Women’s Leadership School celebrate their college choices. The event features the girls enthusiastically revealing where they will attend college, inspiring speeches, and cheering crowds of family, friends, classmates, mentors, and sponsors who have guided them on a rigorous journey leading them to High School graduation.
STEM CHALLENGE
STEM Challenge is an annual event where students create innovative STEM projects and compete locally for the opportunity to represent their school in competition against all 11 Network schools at a big event in Dallas. Students present their projects to judges and have the opportunity to showcase their work to the public.
The EmpowerHER Dinner
This exclusive annual event will feature a cocktail reception with words from leaders in education. Dinner guests will enjoy a special chef-selected menu with wine pairings.

“BELIEVE IN THE GIRL” PEER-TO-PEER FUNDRAISER
We are so grateful to our volunteer fundraisers for participating in our ‘Believe in the Girl’ Fundraiser. Each volunteer is supporting Young Women’s Preparatory Network to help first-generation girls achieve their dreams.
