The Young Women’s STEAM Academy (YWA) is the first single-gender campus in the El Paso Independent School District and a member of the Young Women’s Preparatory Network.

Our free, public girls’ college preparatory school, serving grades 6 through 12, was founded in 2017. We offer a robust STEAM curriculum (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) that emphasizes responsible leadership, college and career readiness, and wellness life skills.

Our goal is to ensure that every student graduates high school prepared for college and beyond. Through academic excellence, extracurricular opportunities, and access to mentors and community partnerships, we empower our students to pursue STEAM careers and become strong, confident female leaders.
