Young Women’s Leadership Academy (YWLA) in Ysleta ISD and Young Women’s STEAM Academy (YWA) in El Paso ISD are all-girls, college preparatory public schools that give underserved young women the academic and leadership skills they need to achieve success in college and in life.

Through a partnership with the Young Women’s Preparatory Network, YWLA and YWA students receive a strong foundation of STEAM curriculum (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) with a focus on the core values of responsible leadership, college and career readiness, and wellness life skills.

Our goal is for all YWLA and YWA scholars to attend and graduate from college.
