Please help Kate Kettles raise $1,000 for YWPN

“I ‘believe in the girl’ and support YWPN because I have witnessed the profound transformation that occurs when girls from underserved communities receive the same caliber of education traditionally reserved for those in elite private schools. These young women, most of color and from low-income families, have been severely disadvantaged by an education system that places them in underfunded schools with diminished expectations. Particularly in subjects like math and science, these girls are often underestimated, a perception they acutely feel.

Then, they enroll in a YWPN school.

It’s miraculous to watch a group of sixth-grade girls grow into confident, capable, and unstoppable young women by graduation. They discover that their dreams hold power and that resilience and hard work create pathways to their success—whether they wield a gavel, scalpel, or pen. These young women evolve into leaders who significantly impact our country and beyond.”
