It was a little less than a year ago that Claire Manigold “retired” from her job as the controller for Crystal Charity Ball “to spend time with her new grandchild.”

But Young Women’s Preparatory Network (YWPN) CEO Lynn McBee came a knocking and lured her out of retirement to become the first CFO for YWPN.

According to Lynn, “I’ve known Claire for years through Crystal Charity Ball, and she is a consummate professional with the skill set we need. She will help us as we expand our network of public schools, so that we can provide the enhancements needed to help even more students.”

In addition to serving as a Division Controller for Trammell Crow Company and a senior accountant for Arthur Andersen & Co., she has “served as president and board member of Educational Opportunities, which provides college scholarships for low-income students from Dallas magnet schools.”
